Preparing Your Home For Cold Weather-Part 1

Here is Part One of a "Three Part Series" to give you some helpful hints on how to keep your home from having some of the typical problems that occur when we don’t prepare it for cold weather. Don’t let this happen to you!!!!

~Turn off the water to the outside spigot.
~Remove your garden hose, drain and store it inside for the winter.
~Install Insulated foam faucet covers over outside spigots.
~Make sure all gutters are clear of leaves, debris and they are tightly secured to the home.
~Make sure downspouts are secured to gutters and free of all debris.
